DESCRIPTION:
Rock - Bring Me The Horizon, consisting of Oliver Sykes, Lee Malia, Matt Kean, Matt Nicholls and Jordan Fish, recorded Sempiternal over a three month period with super producer Terry Date (Linkin Park, Deftones, Soundgarden). The band also brought in David Bendeth (A Day To Remember, Paramore) to add to the all-star production line-up and mix the album.

Sempiternal is an embracing ride through soaring vocals, supercharged melodies and what can only be described as spine tingling metal anthems. After the critical and commercial success of their previous albums, There Is A Hell, Believe Me I've Seen It. There Is A Heaven, Let's Keep It A Secret (2010) and their breakout success Suicide Season (2008), BMTH take heavy music to the next level, incorporating the most dynamic elements of hard music to create the most exhilarating album of the year.

Bring Me the Horizon is a British rock band formed in Sheffield, England, in 2004. The group currently consists of lead vocalist Oli Sykes, drummer Matt Nicholls, guitarist Lee Malia, and bassist Matt Kean. They are signed to RCA Records globally and to Columbia Records in the United States. The band released its debut album "Count Your Blessings" in 2006. The album featured a deathcore style that received mixed reactions and generally unfavorable reviews from critics. In 2008, the band released its second album, "Suicide Season," marking a shift in musical direction. This release is often viewed as a significant point in the band's development, receiving more positive critical and commercial attention. Their third album, "There Is a Hell Believe Me I've Seen It. There Is a Heaven Let's Keep It a Secret." was released in 2010 and expanded the band's sound by incorporating elements of classical music, electronica, and pop. The band's major label debut, "Sempiternal," released in 2013, achieved commercial success, earning Gold certification in Australia and Silver in the United Kingdom. In 2015, "That's the Spirit" debuted at number two on both the UK Albums Chart and the US Billboard 200. Their sixth studio album, "Amo," released in 2019, became their first album to reach number one in the UK. That same year, they released "Music to Listen To..." followed by "Post Human: Survival Horror" in 2020. "Post Human: Nex Gen," the second release in the planned "Post Human" series, was issued as their seventh studio album in May 2024. The band has also released two extended plays and two live albums. They have received multiple accolades, including seven Kerrang! Awards, a BRIT Award for Best Rock/Alternative Act, and two Grammy Award nominations. Bring Me the Horizon has sold over 5 million records worldwide and has reached the top of the UK Rock & Metal Singles Chart with songs such as "Throne," "Drown," "Mantra," "Parasite Eve," "Teardrops," and "Kool-Aid." Their early musical style, exemplified by "Count Your Blessings," is often categorized as deathcore. Over time, the band's sound has evolved, incorporating elements of metalcore, electronica, pop, and hip hop.
