Jahron Anthony Brathwaite (born July 3, 1993), known professionally as PARTYNEXTDOOR, is a Canadian R&B singer, and record producer. PARTYNEXTDOOR was the first artist signed to Drake's OVO Sound record label in 2013, in a joint-venture with Warner Records. He then released his first extended play self-titled PARTYNEXTDOOR later that year. He subsequently released PARTYNEXTDOOR Two and PNDColours in 2014 and PARTYNEXTDOOR 3 in 2016. He has also seen success as a songwriter, having penned "Work", which was released on Rihanna's album Anti and peaked at number-one on the Billboard Hot 100 and become one of the most successful songs of the year, along with "Wild Thoughts" which peaked at number 2 on the Billboard Hot 100. After PARTYMOBILE in 2020, PARTYNEXTDOOR continued releasing music and singles before returning with his fourth studio album, PARTYNEXTDOOR 4 (P4), on April 26, 2024. The album marked his first full-length solo studio album since PARTYMOBILE and featured songs such as “Her Old Friends,” “Resentment,” “Make It to the Morning,” and “No Chill.” Unlike several of his previous projects, P4 did not feature any type of guest artists, allowing PARTYNEXTDOOR to keep the focus almost entirely on his own vocals, songwriting, and production. In 2025, PARTYNEXTDOOR teamed up with Drake for their highly anticipated collaborative album, $ome $exy $ongs 4 U, which was teased late 2024 and was a week before being released on Valentine’s Day, February 14, 2025. The 21-track album runs for more than 73 minutes and combines PARTYNEXTDOOR’s alternative R&B style with Drake’s R&B and hip-hop sound. The project included songs such as “CN TOWER,” “DEEPER,” “NOKIA,” “DIE TRYING,” “SOMEBODY LOVES ME,” “OMW,” and “WHEN HE’S GONE.” $ome $exy $ongs 4 U became a major commercial success. The album debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and went on to become a multi-platinum project. “NOKIA” became one of its biggest songs, while other tracks including “DIE TRYING” and “SOMEBODY LOVES ME” also received major RIAA certifications. The album later earned a 2026 Grammy nomination for “SOMEBODY LOVES ME” in the Best Melodic Rap Performance category. Following the album, PARTYNEXTDOOR continued releasing music connected to the project, including “SOMEBODY LOVES ME PT. 2” with Drake and New York Artist Cash Cobain in September 2025 making a twist on the original song with Cobain's production instead. In 2026, PARTYNEXTDOOR revisited one of the most important projects of his career with PARTYNEXTDOOR 3 (P3) [10-YEAR EDITION]. Released in August 2026 to celebrate the original album’s tenth anniversary, the expanded edition brought previously unreleased and previously unavailable material from the P3 era to streaming.
