Evan Campbell (born 30 May 1997), better known as KETTAMA, is an Irish DJ and producer from Galway, now based in London. His sound is loop-based, sample-heavy club music built in FL Studio, layering 90s trance, UK garage and Euro-dance influences over hard-hitting house.
He was DJing in Galway clubs by 17, holding down the backroom of the now-closed Carbon alongside his friend Cóilí Collins, better known as Shampain. His 2018 debut EP Bucklyn Bridge, released on Brooklyn label HOMAGE, gave him his break: the track "B O D Y" took off after heavy support from Mall Grab and Annie Mac. He and Shampain went on to found G-Town Records, named after a piece of Galway slang, as a home for their own music and other Irish artists; the label's first vinyl EP, G-TOWN 001, arrived in April 2021.
A run of EPs followed: Eastside Avenue and Temperature Rising (2019), Close Your Eyes with Prospa (2022), and G-TOWN 004, Fallen Angel and As You Were (all 2023). He has also recorded as Samba Boys with Tommy Holohan and as KETBOI69 with Partiboi69, and collaborated with Underworld, Lone, Real Lies, Ewan McVicar, Interplanetary Criminal and Fred again..
After a sold-out homecoming show at the Galway International Arts Festival in 2023, he made his Glastonbury, Coachella and Boomtown debuts in 2024. In 2025 he joined the BBC Radio 1 Dance residency roster and released his debut album Archangel on Steel City Dance Discs, which reached No. 6 in Ireland and charted in Australia, the Netherlands, Belgium and the UK. He has continued releasing through 2026 with "Comes and Goes" and "Pumpin" with Partiboi69.
