1. Ioana Anuța , known by her stage name JO (born August 29 , 1994 , Slatina , Olt County , Romania), is a Romanian singer , known for her participation in the show "X Factor", where she came in 2nd place.
In 2019 , DreamWorks Animation co-opted the artist to perform the soundtrack of the series Spirit with a free soul in a special episode called "Happy Birthday Spirit!" , available on Netflix.
Her musical beginnings coincided with the launch of the alternative rock band X-plod , at that time the only rock band made up of children. For approximately 3 years, Ioana was the band's lead singer, participating in numerous music competitions.
In 2009, she participated in the Junior Eurovision Romania Final with the song " Girls Don't Cry ".
In 2012 she was in the " X Factor " competition, and ranked second in the final of the competition. Ioana Anuța was a student of Dan Bittman.
After her experience on "X Factor", Ioana Anuța becomes JO and collaborates with other Romanian music artists on the show " Te cunosc de undeva ".
The summer of 2013 brought her the role of presenter on the entertainment show, called Vara pe val, broadcast on TVR , moderating the show daily, live, from the seaside.
In 2014, she collaborated with UDDI for the single " Lasă-mă pe mine ". Also in 2014, JO released a new song, in collaboration with Dorian Popa , the song is called " Dragoste nebuna " and is composed by the artist, along with Boier Bibescu, Alex Cotoi, Nonis G and Adrian Țuțu.
In 2015, JO released her first solo single, called " Whispers ", in collaboration with Randi, which was a huge success in her career. A few months later, also in 2015, JO continued to collaborate with Randi and released the single and video " Until Next Summer ".
In November 2015, Jo collaborated with Geørge (formerly Jorge ) for the single " Nobody's Perfect ", released alongside a music video that translates into images a series of feelings reminiscent of retro Hollywood films.
2. Hailing from Ipswich, Jo Millet was one of the 2 female dancers who appeared with SL2 live and in their video's. At the time she was also the girlfriend of DJ Lime from the group. She moved on to produce her own tracks from 1993, including the seminal jungle track R-Type.
