4 Track EP Of Tech , Deep House & Progressive House - Berlin-based Youandewan is one of the UK's coolest underground cats. He pretty much operates in the shadows, does zero press and has an endearingly low-key online presence, all because the music he makes and the sets he spins are pure riz.
He started his Brane label 100 years ago (ish) and true to his laid-back MO, only now is he getting out the third EP. 'Impulsive Quest For Cash' kicks off with a ghostly tech-stepper that's shrouded in mysterious pads and paranoid swirls that come on like voices in your head. 'Quick Flight' is a fuller sound with comforting depth and pads smudged and smeared through the mix, then 'One Puff Paranoid' brings some typical B-side wonk with more trippy synth patterns and an afterparty energy. 'AI Crush' is the highlight- an ambient-laced and introverted atmosphere that is happy to be sad.
