Its eighth dish kicks off with an irresistible hors d'oeuvre in the form of Monsieur Van Pratt's big piano jam 'Gotta Get Down', which is pure floor-filling tackle. Voyager 909's 'Shake' blends big strings, soulful vocals and hip-swig in claps with a down and dirty bassline. There is more heads up disco-funk from Disco 86, sexier sounds from the sultry disco bomb that is 'Funktastic Fantastic' and Edson Agiss layers up horns, guitar licks and squealing Hammond organs on 'Comme Ci, Comme Ca.' Rob Castillo sees things out with Got To Be Slick,' an irresistibly soulful and flute-laced house roller with hints of Americana in the guitar riffs buried deep in the mix.
