It's now 20 years since Eddie Leader, an aspiring DJ/producer based in deepest West Yorkshire, founded Hudd Traxx. In the years since, the imprint has become one of the UK's most reliable deep house imprints. As if to prove that point, Leader has curated a special, expansive anniversary compilation that boasts no less than 20 new, unheard tracks. Packed with eye-catching contributions (see Chez Damier and Ben Vedren's deep, warm and jazzy 'Conspiracies', the warming retro-futurism of Groove Armada's 'Play Me Raw' and Cinthie's track-in-tribute 'Hudd House'), it's an extremely impressive four-disc collection that should cement the label's legacy.
