4 track Afro House / Nu Disco

London's Rose Robinson aka Tigerbalm delivers a stunning debut EP on New York's Razor-N-Tape, showcasing her versatile and soulful sound. 'Nina' arrives in three different mixes, all infused with her smooth vocals and lush keys. The original is a low slung affair (feat Farafi) that provides ample mood music, while the thumping Elado mix sets its eyes on the main room, and finally the Voilaaa remix is definitely our favourite - which infuses Afro boogie elements for one seriously infectious version.

London-based music producer & DJ. Global Disco, Organic House, Afro House. https://tigerbalmmusic.com/ https://www.facebook.com/tigerbalmmusic/ https://www.instagram.com/tigerbalmmusic/?hl=en Tigerbalm (Rose Robinson to her mum and dad) was born and raised in Herne Hill, in the badlands of south London and has been DJing professionally for ten years and producing for 5 years (Previously one half of Earthboogie). She has a unique sound that gathers in African, Latin and various world influences and somehow makes them work in and alongside modern electronic music. “I’m passionate about sharing global music flavours,” she explains. “Musically, that can be anything from Italo-disco, French boogie, Afro-house, highlife, Brazilian funk or Asian-inspired edits. My favourite sounds are percussion heavy, heavily Afro-Latin, because the swing embodied in those sounds is what creates a happy dancefloor.” Read more on Last.fm.
