DESCRIPTION:
4 Tracks Of Pumpin House With Disco & Tech Cuts - When it rains, it pours! Which is a good thing, if the soil is dry. The second return of Tiger & Woods in almost no time falls on fertile ground. After DJs on Film has been eagerly embraced, they keep the ingredients, but change the dishes. Consummate and catchy, sweeping and simple DJ music with a penchant for hooks and hits.

Silly Little Games (also featuring long-time collaborator ’Em) evokes the rescue of an unreleased Editainment reel with a hidden new beat feel. Wild Stream is the sort of shattered mirror ball that came out of Shake Shakiest studio and Claude Young would have needed two copies off, while Fake U and Do It to Me are eternal classics Again: No samples were harmed during the filming of this record!

Last FM Information on Tiger

Please note the information is done on a artist keyword match and data is provided by LastFM.
There have been multiple acts named Tiger, including a late 80s/early 90s reggae dancehall DJ, a 90s indie/Britpop band, a hardcore punk band, a Japanese female vocalist and a Trinidadian calypso singer popular in the 1930s. Tiger was a very competent UK blues/rock outfit put together by guitarists Big Jim Sullivan and Les Walker, together with vocalist Nicky Moore, keyboard player Dave McCrae, drummer Billy Rankin, and bass player Phil Curtis. Dave McCrae later was replaced by Alan Park, previously with Beggar's Opera. Tiger split in 1977 after recording three albums. Yuh Dead Now, Cool Me Down and No Wanga Gut are tracks by the former. He was known for his original 'growling' style of chatting and was popular on the sound system Blackstar and many stageshows in Jamaica, before a motorcycle accident cut his aspiring career short in 1994, sparing his life but not his vocal chords. The indie/Britpop Tiger recorded songs such as Friends, My Puppet Pal, Race and Shining In The Wood, all heavily played by Mark Radcliffe circa 1996. The band also sported unfashionably long hair at the back of their heads (often erroneously described as mullets), skinny jeans and metal t-shirts - a look much derided at the time but adopted a few years later by East London hipsters. The hardcore Tiger, formed in 2006 in Traverse City, are set to release an album on Truth & Justice Records. Tiger is the alias of Juha Jeronen (Finland) who was a demoscene musician in the late '90s: http://amp.dascene.net/detail.php?detail=modules&view=7574 Alias of Laurel Aitken Alias of 谭秋娟, a contestant on the Voice of China, season 3. Last FM Information on Woods

Please note the information is done on a artist keyword match and data is provided by LastFM.
Woods is an American folk rock band from Brooklyn, New York, formed in 2005. The band consists of Jeremy Earl (vocals, guitar), Jarvis Taveniere (various instruments, production), Aaron Neveu (drums), Chuck Van Dyck (bass), and Kyle Forester (keyboards, sax). The band's former bassist, Kevin Morby, left the band in 2013. Woods have released 12 albums, the latest being Perennial. Pitchfork Media reviewed one of their previous albums, Songs of Shame, giving the band its "Best New Music" designation and describing the sound as "a distinctive blend of spooky campfire folk, lo-fi rock, homemade tape collages, and other noisy interludes, all anchored by deceptively sturdy melodies." Singer-guitarist and founder Jeremy Earl also runs the rising Brooklyn label Woodsist, for whom the band releases their work. Prior to their initial output as Woods, founding members Jeremy Earl and Jarvis Taveniere, along with former member Christian DeRoeck, performed together in the band Meneguar, in which Taveniere sang and played guitar, and Earl played drums. Meneguar released three albums, beginning with I Was Born At Night (released on cassette in 2004 by Fuck It Tapes, on LP the following year by Magic Bullet Records, and reissued in 2006 by Troubleman Unlimited). The group released two subsequent albums, Strangers in Our House (Release the Bats Records, 2007) and The In Hour (Woodsist, 2008) prior to shifting their focus full-time to recording and performing as Woods. There are other artists with the same name: 2) Woods is a recording name of Japanese musician Seiichi Yamamoto (of Boredoms, Novo Tono, Rovo, Most, etc.). 3) Woods is a techno/house band. 4) woods is an American artist from Tennessee.
