Last FM Information on Soul Central
Please note the information is done on a artist keyword match and data is provided by LastFM.
Soul Central are producers and DJs Andy Ward and Timmy Vegas.
They started their production career in 2000 releasing records on NYC labels such as Soundmen on Wax, Henry Street Records and MAW KenLou Records, which is surprising as they both hail out of Birmingham, United Kingdom.
2004 was a great year for the duo as their rendition of The Strings of Life, Derrick Mays classic was the biggest track at the Miami Winter Music Conference and went on to be an Ibiza anthem, the biggest record in Ibiza that year without a doubt.
2005 saw them storm the charts after writing a vocal version of "Strings of life" for diva Kathy Brown with Stronger on my Own on Defected Records.
Both have long DJ history, Timmy coming from old skool clubs back in '89 such as Timeout, Raw and Pandemonium and Galaxy radio star and Soul Heaven resident, DJ Andy Ward needs no introduction.
Tearing places apart where ever they play, Soul Central bring a mixture of soulful, deep and pumping music to the dance floor, and can also combine a live element to their Dj sets, incorporating live instrumentation and percussion. Last FM Information on Abigail Bailey
Please note the information is done on a artist keyword match and data is provided by LastFM.
House/acoustic/pop vocalist and DJ based in Reading, London, and the Southeast UK. Abigail spent most of the mid to late 1990s as the lead singer of jazz funk band Obsession. After that, she turned her attention to the dance music industry.
The best years of her career have been since 1998/1999, when she had her first breakthrough singles. Hooking up with Manchester's own DJs/producers Jason Herd and John Fitz, she released five collaborations in 2004 alone. Abigail is climbing the ladder and establishing her self among the cream of female house music vocalists. Her voice has been described as angelic yet soulful with a twist of diva.
In addition to writing top-lines for other artists/producers she has, after many years of wanting to, now finally taken up DJing, combining live accpellas and chunky house in her sets. Following the release of this fused concept, she was offered a residency at the highly acclaimed PUKKA UP night once a month at London's prestigious club PACHA. Read more on Last.fm.
