Take Me Back To Eden (an hour-plus of music across 12 distinctive tracks) is Part 3 of a trilogy, a spectacular chapter-closer in the ongoing Sleep Token saga – a saga that kicked off in earnest with debut album, Sundowning (2019).
What comes next, only time will tell, but what’s certain is that it won’t be bound by convention any more than ‘…Eden’, which features probably the heaviest moments thus far recorded by Sleep Token (i.e. ‘Chokehold’ and ‘The Summoning’), along with some of the most commercial and certainly the most emotional, with a slew of other tones, textures and tangents touched on in-between.
Take me Back to Eden sees Sleep Token boldly re-confirming a true love of the epic (the title track is eight minutes plus), whilst further exploring and developing those elements that keep the music removed from any kind of pack, howling at a moon that’s all its own. The band have taken the route of being anonymous with a purposeful move to put the attention on the music (and their supposed deity Sleep), and their pointed, angular take on metal and indie rock stands up to scrutiny. On Take Me Back To Eden they are purportedly closing off a trilogy which began with their debut, although this doesn't mean the end of the band. A good thing to, as they're sounding stronger than ever enmeshing their taut, spiky riffs with electronic textures, dexterous rhythms and canny hooks which keep their appeal broad and persuasive.

Sleep Token are an English rock band formed in London in 2016. The members remain anonymous, performing while wearing masks. The band self-released their debut EP "One" in 2016 and followed it with the EP "Two" in 2017 after signing with Basick Records.
Sleep Token later signed with Spinefarm Records and released their first full-length album, "Sundowning," in 2019. This was followed by "This Place Will Become Your Tomb" in 2021. Their third album, "Take Me Back to Eden," was released in May 2023, and their fourth album, "Even in Arcadia," was released in May 2025 through RCA Records.
