To celebrate the Rebirth 100th Release the label owner Shield and his right arm Robytek get in the studio with Salvatore Principato (Sal P.) and Dennis Young, known as the vocalist and marimba/percussionist of the seminal early 80s NYC band Liquid Liquid. The experimental sounding band emerged from New York City s vibrant Downtown scene in 1981, developing their own unique sound, a fusion of irresistible basslines, junkyard percussion and urgent, free-flowing lyrics.

Shield was a straight edge hardcore band from Umeå, Sweden, founded in 1993. Shield appeared on the compilations Straight Edge as Fuck (Desperate Fight Records) and realesed two records: the debut-EP Build Me Up... Melt Me Down... , followed by the LP called Vampiresongs in 1995.
