Shape Navigator is the ambient/dub/progressive house project from Peter Coyte. Signed to Guerilla Records where he release three singles and recorded an album that was not put out due to the label folding. He then signed to Almo Records and released 'Flow Like a River' featuring black Irish folk singer Evon Brennan on vocals. A further e.p. was released on Red Shift records called Mystify e.p. Peter joined up with punk poet Salena Saliva Godden to form SaltPeter who are currently signed to Fred label and released the album 'Hunger is the Best Sauce' which the Independent on Sunday reviewed as album of the year 2007. Peter Continues to work composing for theatre, film and installations. Theatre companies he has worked with include Peepolykus, Big State Theatre Company, Holy Mountain, John Paul Zaccarini & Company F.Z. Gravity & Levity, Wrongsize and Mother Vision with David Sant for Pot Noodle The Musical. His soundtracks include the documentary ‘The Mothers’ House’ (SAFTA and Cape Town World Cinema best documentary Premio Diocesi di Milano at the Milan Africa Festival) directed by Francois Verster and the feature film 'Fun' (Sundance Award) directed by Rafal Zielinski.
