Having recently delivered their first compilation style EP, Berlin's Disco Disco Records returns to what they do best: offering up solo singles from underground heroes and rising stars. This time round, they've turned to the previously unheard (we think) Ryda, a producer whose track titles suggest he, she or they is of Scandinavian origin. You'll find three hot to trot edits-with-extras on side A, with the excitable peak-time hedonism of 'Onsker Deg' being joined by the chunky breakbeat driven disco heaviness of 'Kar' and the storming disco-house of 'Kesk'. Over on side B, 'Soul' is a killer revision of what sounds like a mid 80s, big studio synth-pop club cut, while 'Dans' is flanged, guitar-flecked disco excess driven forwards by big beats and restless walking bass.

Ryda (aka Robert Ryda) is a rap based artist from Moscow, Russia, born on 16 December 1984. He managed to make his first step as a bilingual battle emcee in the www, managing his lyrics in both - English and Russian. Going into production and mixing later, resulted in the construction of a private studio - Rydarecordz. Rydarec has started gathering people around it from European countries and C.I.S. - United Kingdom (London), Chekh Republic (Prague), Russia (Moscow) and other countries. Ryda's musical expirience includes a large number of recordings for various artists and also the production and co-production of albums.
