The Toy Tonics label boss has a long history of producing dance music, being a DJ and one of the leading figures in the Berlin dance scene. With Toy Tonics Kapote created a label family with all kind of musicians, keyboarders and drummers who also are DJs and record collectors, that stand for a very strong own funky musical vibe. As a DJ, he normally plays only at Toy Tonics Jams – but can be requested for special solo gigs too. Kapote aka Mathias Modica, who some might also know from his former label Gomma records, where he produced under the name of Munk, plays a wild mix of funk orientated music.
