Last FM Information on Rodgers

Please note the information is done on a artist keyword match and data is provided by LastFM.
Rodgers are a group of mostly elderly misfits from Svartlamon, Trondheim, Norway. Originally formed as a two-piece Jimmie Rodgers cover-band in 2004, both their musical palette and membership has grown over the years. Their musical style could perhaps be described as an eclectic, groovy and unusual blend of country, british folk and churlish rock ’n’ roll, with a touch of yodeling, cabaret, campfire and hootenanny. With bitter and egomaniac lyrics about love and pain, but also histories of everything from real larger than life-characters and from their neighbourhood to the murder of Johnny Thunders, they have forged their reputation as one of the most thirst-inducing live-bands in Biskop Darre Gate. Their debut-lp ”Sudden Crop” on Crispin Glover Records arrived in 2014. Read more on Last.fm. User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
