2 Track EP Of Tuff Bass Heavy Tech & Chunky Minimal Flip, Sampling, Vocals from Chantal - The Realm - As you'd expect from a producer with such a great track record, A-side "Yes" is superb. Built around swinging, off-kilter tech-house beats, hazy aural textures and a driving bassline, the track builds in waves thanks to Wruhme's canny use of moody pads, sustained - and undeniably creepy - chords and a wiggly acid line that intensifies as the track progresses.
Over on the flip, "Calma Calma" is an altogether deeper and quietly sunny affair, with Wruhme wrapping female spoken word vocals, stirring orchestration and glassy-eyed melodies around another crunchy tech-house groove.
After last year's lauded 3-track EP "TOPINAMBUR" we're more than happy to announce ROBAG WRUHME's return to SPEICHER. On the A-side, Robag delivers a deep hypnotic chugger that goes by the simple but ultimately affirmative name "YES". In all its simplicity, it's one of those tracks that gently tosses you down the famous rabbit hole. The flip side "CALMA CALMA" is pure summer festival bliss, resurrecting the spine-tingling a cappella from C'Hantal's proto techno classic "The Realm" for the 2020's. Both tracks are 100% Robag... highly emotive, über sexy and yet somehow hazardous.

Gabor Schablizki (AKA Robag Wruhme) was one-half of Wighnomy Brothers, a collaborative project for which Schablizki handled the production. The project came to an end in the early months 2010, leaving Schablitzki to work on his solo work as Robag Wruhme. The sound of Wruhme is distanced somewhat from his previous work; while Wighnomy Brothers' material possessed a high-energy, dancefloor aesthetic, Whrume material is subtle, and more delicate. Over the years, releases have landed on Kompakt, Musik Krause, and Pampa—and it was a blissful Thora Vukk, full-length from 2011 that really captured the wider world's attention.
