She was named Producer of the Year by Billboard Women in Music in 2024 and British Producer of the Year at the 2026 Brit Awards.
Born in Bath, Somerset, and raised in Kent, PinkPantheress began her music career in 2021 while attending university in London, producing songs with GarageBand and sharing them on SoundCloud and TikTok. Several tracks, including "Break It Off," gained popularity on TikTok, leading to her signing with Parlophone and Elektra Records and releasing her debut mixtape "To Hell with It" in 2021. She won the BBC's Sound of 2022 poll after the singles "Just for Me" and "Pain" entered the top 40 of the UK Singles Chart. Her 2022 single "Boy's a Liar" reached number two in the UK. Her debut studio album, "Heaven Knows" (2023), charted in ten countries and included the UK top-20 song "Nice to Meet You" and the remix single "Boy's a Liar Pt. 2" with Ice Spice, which reached number three on the US Billboard Hot 100.
Her second mixtape, "Fancy That" (2025), received two Grammy nominations and peaked at number three on the UK Albums Chart. It produced the UK top-40 singles "Tonight," "Stateside," and "Illegal," the latter becoming her second entry on the Billboard Hot 100. A companion remix album, "Fancy Some More?," was released the same year, including the remix "Stateside + Zara Larsson," which became her third entry on the US charts.
