DESCRIPTION:
Fancy Some More? is PinkPantheress's third remix set to date, herself having single-handedly revived the art of the remix as an album-worthy form in its own right. She's come a long way since then: this one's a sequel and companion piece to her last remix set Fancy That, one assured of its future chartbusting chiasmus, as it entirely flips the script on the usual remix dogma. No, this erythric girl jaguar is able to flex her pedigree over and above the other cats, compelling remixees to engage in an interactive sample-remix interplay, not least among them Basement Jaxx, who've here remixed PinkPantheress in graceful response to her own song 'Romeo', itself originally an effective remix of their song 'Good Luck'. Many similar interactions ensue, and the guestlist is long, towing in Kylie Minogue, Bladee, Sugababes, Zara Larsson and Nia Archives. The blurring of remix and collaborative update is an effective one, as this is the kind of ping-pong dialogue that top talents like Pantheress can pull off best.
