Mr V Provides Vocal On This Deep Bass Heavy House Monster - Back in 2020 we released the original of ‘Oliver Dollar & ADMN feat. Mr. V - Sanctuary’ on Industry Standard.
The original is a sublime track with a nod to a vintage deep house sound. ’Sanctuary’ features Mr. V’s spoken word vocal over a slick rhythm section, lush chords stabs, and ethereal synth pads.
Fast forward to 2025 and we are delivering a vinyl release featuring the original mix, and 2 new remixes from France’s DJ W!ld, and Detroit’s Bendersnatch.
DJ W!ld comes with a deep, rolling take on the track, with a low slung baseline, and trippy breakdown that will wig out the dance floor. Bendersnatch take their version into trackier territory with a heavy kick, stripped back vibe and FX on the vocals that give this version another dimension to the package.
Sanctuary' is the 2020 deep house gem from Oliver Dollar, ADMN and Mr. V and now it returns in 2025 with a fresh vinyl pressing. The original, built around Mr. V's commanding spoken word and shimmering chords backed by airy pads, still packs dance floor punch. This reissue expands the vision with two remixes. First up, French don DJ W!ld injects his signature hypnotic swing and pairs a supple bassline with woozy breakdowns that stretch the dancefloor's tension and release. Oliver $ continues working closely with Jesse Rose and producing records and remixes that are being played by the likes of Ricardo Villalobos, Luciano, Derrick Carter and Switch. 2008 started with a bang for Oliver as Hotflash was released on made to play in january and has been a massive hit. His remixes for Swag, Idiotproof (aka Jamie Anderson and Deepgroove) and Jacob London have caused devastation all over and his remix of Grovesnor’s Drive your car on Grecoroman got the biggest reaction in Jesse Rose’s set to 20,000 people on New Years day 2008 in Sydney, Australia.
As well as having a busy studio schedule Oliver $ is also playing both live and djs sets at some of the best clubs the world over. Over the next few months he will be playing at The Egg in London, Vega in Copenhagen, Rumble in Sweden, Stalker in Holland and Panoramabar in Berlin where he holds his residency at the monthly made to play night.
