This Nebraska born singer/songwriter is no stranger to the stage.
Since age 5, Tasha LaRae has been entertaining audiences from
the hundreds to the thousands.
During her high school years, she began taking vocal lessons and
studied both opera and classical music at the University of
Nebraska at Omaha. In 2000, Tasha migrated south to make her
new home in Atlanta, GA.
Tasha has spent the last 7 years getting prepared. She has written
songs for up and coming artist such as Dain Harris and has gained
experience, first hand, traveling as a background vocalist for
various artist including Tracy Hamlin, Gina Darby, Rhonda Thomas,
and many others.
Ms. LaRae has shared the stage with a wide range of artist from
great jazz legends like George Benson and Al Jarreau to some of
Hip Hop’s hottest like T-Pain, Yung Joc, and Fat Joe.
Now Tasha LaRae is taking her place center stage. She has been
writing music for her debut album entitled “Love Yourself” soon to
be released independently. With musical influences such as Ella
Fitzgerald, Billie Holiday, Whitney Houston, Earth Wind and Fire,
Stevie Wonder, Jill Scott, and Tina Turner – her blend of Rock, Soul,
R&B, and Jazz will have you sitting on the edge of your seat.
Many super stars have come and gone but longevity breeds
legends. Forget being a super star, Tasha LaRae is a legend in the
making.
