Serbian twosome Mirko & Meex (AKA Milos Djujic & Mirko Zekovic) have been plying their trade on Cruise Music for the best part of a decade, though much of their material has previously only been released digitally. This four-tracker, then, acts as a kind of 'best of so far', with each of the showcased cuts appearing on wax for the first time. The duo begins with the smooth, colourful and lightly soulful vocal house gem 'That's The Way', before dropping the bongo-laced beats, rising loops and old school piano solos of 'A Jam'. Over on side B, 'Soulshaka' is a percussively rich, tribal-infused slab of locked-in peak-time loop-funk, while 'Two People' is a deep, guitar-flecked disco-house number that utilises the same sample as Jean-Jacques Smoothie's 2000s house anthem of the same name
