2x12" LP - Hip Hop R&B Instrumentals Pressed on Mustard Vinyl.

One of the most expansive instrumental Hip Hop series to date, MF DOOM’s lauded Special Herbs collection assembles a mountainous collection of his beats, ranging from series exclusives to slightly reworked favorites he produced for himself and others. Released under the alias Metal Fingers, Special Herbs succeeds at capturing DOOM’s highly influential sound which continually breaks and reinterprets the rules of the game in favor of The Super-Villain. The world is a treasure trove of sounds, and the Metal-Fingered DOOM accepts no limits; ’70s Soul/Funk classic, ’80s R&B hits, rap nostalgia, and even soundbites from children’s records & TV all find their place in the ingredients needed to perfect his recipes.

Last FM Information on Metal Fingers

Please note the information is done on a artist keyword match and data is provided by LastFM.
Metal Fingers is one of the many alter-egos taken on by Hip-Hop artist MF DOOM. All of Metal Finger's works are instrumental, and are released in "volumes," each one being called "Special Herbs." The title of each track on the 10 "Special Herbs" volumes is named after a herb or flora. There is some confusion among the titles of the albums, because of how they overlap with previous volumes. For instance, "Special Herbs, Vol. 2" actually contains its predecessor, "Special Herbs, Vol. 1," as the first 9 tracks of the album. A similar overlap occurs with vol. 4 (including 3 as well), but later releases tend to combine volumes and say such in the title. Read more on Last.fm.
