2x12" Folk , Pop Pressedd on Pink Vinyl for NAD - Scottish singer-songwriter Amy Macdonald released her second studio album 'A Curious Thing' on 8th March 2010. It entered the UK album charts at 4, reaching platinum status.

The album has sold 1,000,000 copies. Spending 65 weeks on the German Albums Chart, 'A Curious Thing' is MacDonald's second album to stay on that chart for more than a year (her debut album spent 101 weeks on that chart, with 36 weeks in the top 10). It also reached #1 in Austria and Switzerland. A follow up deluxe edition set includes the standard version of the album and the full live recording from Amy's homecoming show at Glasgow Barrowlands in December 2007. Following that a special orchestral two-disc set includes the standard version of the album plus a bonus disc containing live orchestral versions recorded on 17 October 2010. It was recorded live in Esch-sur-Alzette (Luxembourg), performed with the Deutsche Radio Philharmonie Orchestra, conducted by Gast Waltzing. 2025 is the 15th anniversary of the album, to celebrate that Amy has compiled this 2LP set, LP1 being the studio album, LP2 is made up of live tracks from deluxe editions. This will also feature unseen images from the album release and be pressed on colour vinyl to celebrate National Album Day.

Amy Elizabeth Macdonald (born 25 August 1987 in Bishopbriggs, East Dunbartonshire) is a Scottish singer and songwriter. Macdonald rose to fame in 2007 with her debut album, This Is the Life (2007) and its fourth single, "This Is the Life". The single charted at number one in six countries, while reaching the top ten in another eleven countries. A self-taught musician, Macdonald began by playing her father's guitar after being inspired by Travis at the T in the Park Festival in 2000, where she heard Travis' song "Turn" and wanted to play it herself. She started performing in pubs and coffee houses around Glasgow at the age of 15. She signed a record deal with Vertigo, the same record label which hosts The Killers and Razorlight. Her first single, Poison Prince, was released on May 7, 2007. Her debut album, This Is the Life, was released on July 30, 2007. "Don't Tell Me That It's Over" was released in March 2010 as the lead single from her second studio album, A Curious Thing, which was released on 8 March 2010.
