2x12" Alternartive Rock - This new edition of ‘Given To The Wild’ features the original album tracklist and will be pressed on double orange translucent vinyl, complete with new gatefold packaging. This is the first vinyl press since the original run sold-out shortly after release.
Hot off the heels of their emotional return to the limelight with a few live shows, including on the Glastonbury Park stage, London-formed indie greats The Maccabees reissue what's arguably their best album. The fact they closed their Glasto set with the album's single 'Pelican' shows they are perhaps aware too that this is particularly special body of work. The album was first released in 2012 and came to be a high-water mark for British indie of that time. Few bands were operating at this level so when they split in 2016 it was devastating. It seemed for a while that we'd never have them back but it feels like they're back in earnest now and hopefully not going anywhere fast.
