Vocal House, Deep House & Electro Remixes on this release - -Luca Lozano returns with “Bop (Rad Feeling)”, Released on Southern Fried Records, the track channels Lozano’s love for classic UK club culture through punchy drums, elastic basslines, and infectious vocal hooks that feel equal parts playful and euphoric.
With this release, Luca Lozano once again showcases his ability to blur the lines between retro futurism and contemporary dance music, delivering a track that feels both familiar and fresh.
Klasse Wrecks co-founder and long-serving underground scene servant Luca Lozano popping up on Norman Cook's long-running Southern Fried Records imprint. 'Bop (Rad Feeling)' is certainly the sort of thing that would appeal to the big beat legend, featuring as it does raw, twisted electronic motifs, sampled vocal snippets aplenty, hybrid electro-breaks riffs and alien-sounding synths. It's exciting and excitable and comes backed with a trio of alternate takes. Long-term collaborator Mr Ho offers up a hybrid acid house/nu-disco version, Lozano drops a handy instrumental, and 80s electro legend Kurtis Mantronik gives it a jacking, retro-futurist feel that emphasises the Sheffield-based producer's hip-hop and electro roots.

Last FM Information on Luca Lozano

Luca Lozano is a British born, Berlin based DJ / Producer who champions a sound that neatly rides the wave between House, Techno & Trip Hop where thuggish bass lines take center stage and deep, dark emotions intertwine with the upmost ease and style.
Lozano is not one to do things in half measures as his current role for Klasse Recordings encompasses much more than that of DJ / Producer. He is also the label’s A&R executive calling to arms fresh and exciting producers to join his growing Klasse army of enthusiasts. As such Lozano has already brought to the fold the talents of Sacha Robotti, Kris Wadsworth, Jordan Peak, Johanna Knutsson, Minilogue, Huxley amongst many others, each one lending their adept hands at taking on his label’s sound. If all this wasn’t enough he is also the creative director of this imprint letting his artistic side loose where his love of outsider art, 1970’s graffiti come up trumps and is so prevalent in his label’s identity.
