DESCRIPTION:
Pumpin Vocal PIano House Peak Of Night Thriller - 1 0f 300 Copies -
Unsung Hero Lady D appears out of nowhere, delivering three cuts of pure dancefloor attitude. Raw 90s house energy on “Son of a Gun”, deep Balearic moods and a forward-pushing Dub on the flip.

Released via kickin’ up dust on dark blue vinyl. Limited to 300 copies.

Berlin-based Kickin' Up Dust welcomes Lady D, an artist with little or no online footprint who they describe as an 'unsung hero'. Whoever she is, 'Son of a Gun' is a remarkable record. In its original mix form (side A), the cut sits somewhere between the classic deep house dreaminess of turn-of-the-90s Italian house, vibraphone-laden New Jersey garage, and Danny Tenaglia's sublime mid 90s remixes of First Choice disco classic 'Double Cross'. Over on the flip, the 'Balearic Version' is a slow-build fusion of loved-up ambience and piano-rich early 90s Italo-house, while the 'Acid Funk Dub' is a deeper, hazier and more intoxicating affair that's as hypnotic and alluring as they come.
