DESCRIPTION:
Vocal House / Vocal Nu-Disco Reworks - Krewcial returns with more MJ from the vaults. Mixed from the original multi-tracks, always with love and respect for the original material.

The A side kicks off with The Jacksons 'Everybody' but feels and sounds like a solo Michael joint and references his “Get On The Floor” in the lyrics. The extended version gives plenty of room to all instruments to build up and join before MJ comes in.

On the flip we have the seminal 'Can’t Help It', written by Stevie Wonder and sampled by DeLaSoul combines the instrumentation and energetic drums from the demo version with the lead vocal from the album version. Adding a lush string arrangement which takes this version into TSOP territory and adds the disco vibe that works on today’s dancefloors.

Last FM Information on Krewcial

Please note the information is done on a artist keyword match and data is provided by LastFM.
Belgium isn't the first place you think of as a hip hop hotspot, but Krewcial could be the artist to change all that. Here is the full album of warm soulful beats in a Little Brother style (Phonte even appears on one track, as do Stones Throw stalwarts Kazi and Oh No, and Def Jux fella Murs) with a surprisingly good flow - no dodgy European accents on show, just pure hip hop from an unexpected source - definately recommended! Krewcial is a producer & emcee who over the years has toured with The Alkaholiks, Blackstar, Rob Swift, Company Flow, Common, Ursula Rucker, Jill Scott, The Pharcyde, Genius/GZA, Black Eyed Peas, Last Emperor, Dwele and Xzibit. Krewcials first single for BBE (U.R.U EP) featured guest appearances from Phonte Coleman (Little Brother / Foreign Exchange), with the production skillz of Krewcial sounding like he took some lessons from early BBE Beat Generation master Jay Dee.
