Sofia producer Strahil Velchev aka Kink revisits his own material with 'Versions', turning familiar, live-performable and audience-participatory ideas to playful, kinetic mutations. The EP opens with 'Comin', a taut joy-imbuer, before three new takes on 'Pump' , each twisting the core motif with subtle shifts and whimsical synth touches. Both studio and stage agility are checked, as this EP steers more towards the banger end of the kinky house spectrum, distinctly mischievous and always Velchev's own

With the support of names such as Josh Wink, Richie Hawtin, Laurent Garnier, Surgeon and Modeselektor, KiNK is rapidly gaining momentum in the electronic music industry and is proving himself as a unique and consistent producer. Since 2009 he is suffering from tinnitus which made it impossible for him to attend the DJ booth for a short period of time, during which he produced a number of tracks for major labels such as Ovum.
KiNK's "Taped in 2009" mix was announced as Resident Advisor's mix of the day on December 31, 2009 thus marking the end of the decade.
