1992 Bass Heavy Vocal Hooked Breakbeat/ Hardcore - Repressed on Orange Vinyl - IN DA PLACE TO BE !!!!

An absolute classic of the 1992 rave era, supported at many of the big raves of that year by Carl Cox. Justice (from Luton) and Mercy (from Dunstable) came together after the both of them had previously recorded for Chill Records; Justice as part of Blame & Justice and Mercy as part of Terra Incognita. They soon found out that Justices hardcore rave vibes and Mercy’s engineering prowess was the perfect combination. The outcome of the sessions is this incredible 5 track EP that was originally released on Rudebwoy Records as a limited white label. An original copy could set you back as much as £75.00 on Discogs!

Andrew Mercy ended up emigrating to Canada to work in the film industry and Tony Justice went on to a successful career releasing on Moving Shadow and these days runs his Modern Urban Jazz label.

Released in a Vinyl Fanatiks housebag on 180 gram heavyweight ORANGE vinyl.

There are at least 9 artists who have used the name "Justice". 1) Justice is an electronic music duo from Paris, France, formed in 2003 and consisting of Gaspard Augé (born 21 May, 1979) and Xavier de Rosnay (born 2 July, 1982). They are mostly known for their remix of Simian’s “Never Be Alone”, later renamed “We Are Your Friends”, as well as their “Waters of Nazareth” EP and their single release of ‘’D.A.N.C.E.’‘. Their debut album is entitled “†” but is often spelled out “Cross”. Justice is the most commercially successful act on the label of Pedro Winter (Busy P), Ed Banger. 2) In the summer of 2003 a couple of young hardcore enthusiasts put their heads together and decided to create a band that would stir things up and speak out. Bummed out but at the same time motivated by the stale state of affairs in hardcore at the time, JUSTICE burst onto the scene with an unseen energy, a righteous attitude and the determination to turn things around. More than three years down the line and after some line up changes, a slew of well received releases (their demo, two EP's and a full length) and countless tours and shows (in Europe and the States), it is safe to say their mission's been accomplished. JUSTICE has become a household name to hardcore/punk kids worldwide and they have accomplished that by doing what they do best: writing catchy, honest and meaningful songs and backing it all up with an insane work ethic. Justice Played their last show the 8th of March 2008 and released one final 12" ep along with their demise. Justice released two LPs, two 7 inches and a 12" EP. Members are now in Rhythm To The Madness, Loud And Clear and Rise And Fall. http://www.myspace.com/justicehc. 1) Genre-defining Heavy/Doom-Metal band from Sweden. The first two full-length releases featured Messiah Marcolin on vocals. Looking for a heavier direction, Messiah decided to leave the band and joined Candlemass. They are often dismissed or mentioned in passing, instead of being acknowledged as a strong band with a unique vision. Andrija Veljaca (Witchking) was the sole constant member of the band since its inception. He carried Mercy onward until his untimely demise in August 25th 2005, meaning Mercy is now defunct. 2) American one-hit wonder pop group from Florida. They released an album in 1969 entitled Mercy - Love Can Make You Happy; this peaked at #38 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 200 chart[1] as a result of the success of their hit single, "Love (Can Make You Happy)". The tune spent two weeks at #2 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 singles chart, and also peaked at #2 on the Adult Contemporary chart. 3) Metal band from Brazil. Formed in 2003, Mercy purportedly recorded a handful of songs, but only released one, "Kingdom of Holiness", which appears on the Extreme Metal compilation "Underground Rot 2" from Dysmorphic Records. The "group," such as it was, has never been heard from again. 4) Queens based rapper affiliated with J-Love. 5) 80s Christian metal band. 6) A French female blues/country-folk singer, from Paris. 7) Richie Sambora's band after he left Message.
