THERE IS A CONFUSION BETWEEN TWO ARTISTS IN THIS PAGE :
The following wiki is about American rapper June Bug, however the info on the side (date and place of the band's birth, insta, twitter and website) are about French Electronic Fuzz Folk band June Bug. Moreover their songs and albums are mixed up. This needs fixing.

Rapper June Bug hails from the west side of Detroit raised by a single mother and the peers he called his brothers. His earliest exposure to hip hop was the Fat Boys, Kid n Play, Kwame, N.W.A. and a video music show called The Jukebox. Imitating the musical art form that was fresh to his young ears, he began rapping in talent shows with schoolmates. With back-to-back victories becoming the norm, one particular win stood out from the rest. The grand prize of backstage passes to the Motown Revue at the Joe Louis Arena put June face to face with his rhyme-spitting crush, MC Trouble. He asked her how she made it into the music business and she told him, I just made a demo tape, sent it off, and they came and got me in a limousine! Junes talent show wins, coupled with the advice from MC Trouble inspired him to keep writing and begin recording songs in high school. His classmates were his earliest audiences who gave him nothing but props on his work. Fast forwarding to college, June spent a few years on campus, but was urged by friend, and rapper, Royce da 59 to pursue his music career seriously. College was placed on hold and June began hitting the open mic sessions at Detroits legendary Hip-Hop Shop on 7 Mile Road, hosted by the late Proof of D12 fame. After years of practice and influence, today June is a quick-witted rapper that lives and dies by lyrical content. Its his goal to be a breath of fresh air to the current rap market and remind listeners of the days when hip hop was about emceeing, not just laying words over a tight beat. With three mixtapes under his belt (all available on www.junesflow.com) he is currently working on his debut album City Flow, as well as a fourth mixtape that will feature fellow Detroit Rock City artists Royce da 59, Tre Little, Quest McCody, and the M.I.C. Its not like Detroit is so ahead of the game that we can afford to be half-assed in any genre of music, June says. I have to bring another face to mainstream rap because from a music standpoint, that side of the game has only been told by a small few like Eminem, D12 and Kid Rock. City Flow features an array of melodic, original production, with few samples. It is a different approach than the mixtapes, giving his listeners an opportunity to hear his musical preferences. Though hes an independent artist, passing out CDs at his live shows and snagging airtime on college and DJ mix shows, June has his sights set on a major label deal and is eager to put in all of the work that comes along with it.
