With Releases On Such Labels As Clone, Apollonia And Dogmatik The Last Few Years, Jovonn Set Up His Body N'deep Label In 2017 To Release Tracks From Himself And Other Like-minded Producers. The Album Focusses On The Deeper Side Of House And Jovonn's Trademark New Jersey House Sound, With Contributions By Patrick Mangan (violin) On 'hesperia Soul' And Cassioware On 'turnin Me Out'.
Jovonn returns to his Body N'Deep label for triple album "Timeless", his first LP since "Blaque House" was released on Code Red back in 2009 and jam packed full of hits.
Focusing on the deeper side of house, Jovonn's trademark New Jersey drums, max swing, sweet piano parts and low bass characterize much of the album, with contributions by Patrick Mangan (violin on "Hesperia Soul") and Cassioware ("Turning Me Out"). Luckily for us there's no nonsense hidden amongst the three discs - Jovonn preferring to touch upon all corners of the house music playing field - soulful, deep, bumpin, frantic and jacking flavours all making their tastes known on the aural palette.
Twelve tracks that radiate quality and deepness throughout - Jovonn's still at the top of his game. Recommended!

After a brief hiatus, producer/DJ JoVonn is back on the Dance scene with a vengeance. With him he brings back his trademark gritty sounds, hard kicks, phat bass lines and jazzy chords. He decided to return to his roles as producer and record label owner, because he felt it was time to bring back "the real underground sound." When asked what prompted his return, JoVonn replied, "I couldn't let my peeps down."
True lovers of Dance music have been familiar with the name JoVonn for some time now. He has excelled in every role he has played in the Dance music industry for over a decade. These roles have included singer, song writer, musician and record label owner. In 1991, the Dance scene was rocked by "Turn and Runaway" on Warner Bros. Records, which was JoVonn's second release. This classic hit, achieved the honor of charting at number 10 on Billboard. JoVonn's discography incudes such hits as "Love So Special" by Ceybil Jeffries, on which he also sang background vocals; "Step Into My Life" by Valerie Johnson; "Flutes", "Be Free" and countless others.
In addition to being an internationally renowned producer and club DJ, JoVonn founded his first Dance label, Goldtone Records, in the early 1990's. His latest record label ventures, NextMoov Records and NextMoov Traxx, are dedicated to bringing back the deep, soulful sounds of the Underground.
To JoVonn, Dance music is more than just another genre. It is a feeling, an emotion, a passion. He compares the feelings it conveys to that of Gospel saying, "it's spiritual". His mission is to capture that deep, soulful Underground sound of the past, take it to another level and into the new millennium.
