Downbeat Electronica, Hip Hop & R&B Pressed on Prism Coloured Vinyl In Alternate Sleeve

Joji returns with long-awaited 4th studio album ‘Piss In The Wind’ via Palace Creek. The new LP cements his place as one of the most distinctive and genre-defying artists of his generation, balancing haunting melodies with gritty yet atmospheric production. The album captures the quiet contradictions that always defined his music, wrestling inner turmoil into something strangely beautiful. Features 'PIXELATED KISSES', 'Past Won’t Leave My Bed', and more.

Now working between the US and Japan, Joji returns with music that feels like a quiet reckoning with his own past. The lo-fi shadows of his early work drift through 'If It Only Gets Better', a song built around a melody that moves as if testing its own weight. 'Past Won't Leave My Bed' presses deeper, its piano circling a thought he can't silence, all before the arrangement rises into something slightly stark and cinematic. Even the distortion on 'Pixelated Kisses' sounds like an attempt at clarity. What's revealed is a writer trying to meet himself where he is now, not where he once stood.

George Kusunoki Miller, known professionally as Joji and formerly as Filthy Frank and Pink Guy, is a Japanese-Australian singer, songwriter, rapper, and former Internet personality. His music blends elements of R&B, lo-fi, and trip-hop. Miller created The Filthy Frank Show on YouTube in 2011 while living in Japan, gaining recognition for portraying eccentric characters on the comedy channels "TVFilthyFrank", "TooDamnFilthy", and "DizastaMusic". He began producing Filthy Frank content in 2012 during his college studies in the United States. The channels, which featured comedy hip hop, rants, extreme challenges, and ukulele and dance performances, were noted for their shock humor and viral impact. Miller helped popularize the Harlem Shake, an Internet meme that contributed to the commercial success of Baauer's song "Harlem Shake" and further elevated his YouTube prominence. As Pink Guy, he released two comedy studio albums, "Pink Guy" and "Pink Season", along with an extended play, between 2014 and 2017. In late 2017, Miller ended The Filthy Frank Show to focus on a music career under the name "Joji", the Japanese version of his first name. He signed with 88Rising and 12Tone Music Group to release his first two studio albums, "Ballads 1" (2018) and "Nectar" (2020), both of which reached number three on the Billboard 200. These albums included the singles "Slow Dancing in the Dark" and "Sanctuary", both of which appeared on the Billboard Hot 100 and ARIA Charts. His 2022 single, "Glimpse of Us", peaked at number eight on the Billboard Hot 100 and reached number one on the ARIA Charts, becoming his highest-charting song, and preceded his third album, "Smithereens" (2022).
