The Houston, Texas-based outfit released a quartet of obscure singles between 1983 and 87 before rebranding themselves as Future. 'Girl You Turn Me On' dates from 1983 and delivers a simply sensational blend of squelchy P-funk, dancefloor-focused 80s soul, electrofunk and the talkbox-fronted madness of Zapp. As it did first time around, the cut is presented in full vocal and instrumental mix forms.
