2x12" Jazzy Hip Hop Rap LP - For those who enjoyed Jazz Liberatorz's Clin d'oeil from last year, he's some more treats from the group for ya. This album compiles most of the 12" singles the group released before that album and also a few exclusive tracks. To me this is just as good as their album, the sound is a little different but it obviously remains very jazzy. Sometimes it's weird going backwards with a group, but listening to this allows you to see how they evolved to create Clin d'oeil, their earlier sound was perhaps more "raw" but it's hard to complain about either one of the two. A difference between this and their album is about half of the tracks here are instrumentals and the other features American MC's, while Clin d'oeil featured a guest on every track. 70+ minutes might be too long for many artists without hitting the filler zone, but can't say this about anything here, the album just goes on and on without having any weak material which is quite impressive. If you're a fan than get this, and if you're not well then become one.
