Jadu Heart is an English alternative/indie duo formed by Diva-Sachy Jeffrey and Alex Headford. Known for their genre-blending sound that fuses dream pop, shoegaze, psych-rock, and lo-fi indie, the pair debuted in 2016 with their EP Wanderflower. Early in their career, they performed as masked alter egos, Dina and Faro, creating a fictional universe to complement their ethereal and narrative-driven music.
Over time, Jadu Heart’s sound evolved, shifting toward darker, guitar-driven tones influenced by gothic aesthetics and personal introspection. Their albums Hyper Romance (2020) and Derealised (2023) showcase this transformation, exploring themes of love, loss, existential struggles, and self-discovery. Relocating to Bristol in 2019, the duo built their own studio and embraced a rawer, more intimate approach to both their music and performances.
Despite being independent artists under labels like VLF Records, Jadu Heart has amassed over 300 million streams globally and cultivated a loyal fanbase through their emotionally resonant melodies and immersive live shows.
