INI - CENTER OF ATTENTION

There are at least 3 artists under the name of INI; 1) INI or full "connecting members (I) and you (I) with Network (N)" is a Japanese boy group under Lapone Entertainment. The group was formed with the final winners from the 2nd season of the survival show Produce 101 Japan. The members are Kimura Masaya, Nishi Hiroto, Xu Fengfan, Tajima Shogo, Takatsuka Hiromu, Goto Takeru, Ozaki Takumi, Fujimaki Kyosuke, Sano Yudai, Ikezaki Rihito, and Matsuda Jin. INI made their debut on November 3rd, 2021 with their album "A" which consists of the two title tracks "Rocketeer", voted by fans as the main track, and "Brighter". Also included are INI's own versions of the Produce 101 Japan songs "ONE" and "RUNWAY", as well as two new songs called "Cardio" and "KILLING PART". 2) InI is hip-hop superproducer Pete Rock's group along with Rob-O, and Pete's brother Grap Luva. InI's sole album Center of Attention was reportedly recorded in mid-90's, but got lost for several years and wasn't released until 2003. Some sources mention also Rass as a member, but as far as is known, he wasn't present when the album was recorded. The name InI refers to Rastafarian way of saying 'I and I', meaning 'we'. The cover of the Center of Attention album shows an often seen image of Haile Selassie, who is seen as God incarnate among followers of the Rastafari movement. 3) INI is an avant-garde black metal band from Trondheim, Norway.
