Ida Corr (born on 14 March 1977 in Århus, Denmark) is a Danish-Gambian singer and songwriter.
In 2002, Ida became known to the Danish-Norwegian public as a member of the short-lived girlgroup Sha Li Mar, consisting of Christina Undhjem, Engelina Larsen and Ida herself. The group, whose repertoire consisted entire of cover songs, performed weekly on the 3rd season of the prime time television show Venner for livet. The group released a an album of cover songs the same year, but disbanded shortly afterwards.
Her breakthrough came in 2006 with the release of her second solo album, 'RoboSoul'. After writing a special song for the Live Earth set of international music concerts, entitled "Mirror 07-07-07", her popularity began to spread outside of Denmark. The song was performed for the first time on 7 July 2007 at 7:07 A.M.
In 2007, she received exposure in the Netherlands due to her second collaboration with Dutch DJ Fedde Le Grand, a remix of her song "Let Me Think About It", which became one of the the best-selling singles outside Denmark by a Danish act.
In 2008, Ida Corr released the compilation album 'One', while the single "Let Me Think About It' continued its success and reached No. 1 on the US Billboard Hot Dance Airplay chart.
Ida Corr's third solo album, 'Under the Sun', was released in 2009.
Since 2007, Ida Coor has also been a member of the band SugaRush Beat Company, along with American singer Rahsaan Patterson and Australian producer Jarrad Rogers. The group released its eponymous debut album in 2008.
