Shawn Christopher is an African American dance music singer from Chicago, Illinois. She started her career as a touring backing vocalist for R&B singer Chaka Khan from 1982 to 1985, and is also a former member of My Life With the Thrill Kill Kult and Sonia Dada. Shawn Christopher is best known for several dance hits in the 1990s, such as Another Sleepless Night (1991), Don't Lose the Magic (1992), and Sweet Freedom (1998), as well as for providing vocals on Lil' Louis's #1 house hit French Kiss. Art Of Tones is Ludovic Llorca's more edgy and electronic project. Focused on House and Disco music, started as a side project in 2006 with a serie of EP's on UK iconic 2020 vision label, it quickly became Ludovic's highly regarded moniker. Thanx to "Praise" and "Call The Shots",it immediately received positive feedbacks from well known dj's and got licensed for a plethora of famous compilations (Xpress 2 for NRK's coast to coast, Francois K for Ministry Of Sound's Masterpieces, Renaissance Masters serie). After a couple of EP's on "Room With A view", followed by "Too Much" being ranked in "Resident Advisor's 2011 most played tracks", Art Of Tones EP's on We Play House and DFTD records topped electronic music platforms' charts for weeks. Ludovic then started a faithful collaboration with Fred Everything's Lazy Days label and Local Talk Records, with a bunch of successfull EP's. Among them, "The Rainbow Song" was a massive House-music anthem, playlisted and charted everywhere, aswell as one of Local Talk Records best sell, and "Art Of Tones Collection" was the perfect summary of Ludovic's work on Lazy Days. Following a long list of EP's and remixes on various labels (Toytonics, Monoside, Papa Records, Wonderwheel, Shadeleaf, House Of Disco, Glitterbox...)
