Featuring a superb array of both fresh and regular vocal and musical collaborators, Michael delivers another superb helping of lovingly crafted discofied, boogie and soulful dance treats, where meaningful songwriting, passionate vocal performances and impeccable musicianship combine to create one of Michael’s best bodies of studio work to date!

“I’m really excited about this album. I enjoyed making ‘Optimism’ 2 years ago, but I feel like my sound and creativity have developed further during the production of my third album ‘You & Me’. I think there will be a few tracks that people are not expecting from me… and that’s the joy of making an album! You can really get creative”. – Michael Gray

Across the album, Michael brings together an impressive array of world class talent. Rising 29 year old vocalist Bran Mazz features prominently, delivering fresh performances on the standout cover of Maxwell’s ‘Ascension (Don’t Ever Wonder)’, as well as on ‘I Like The Way’, ‘Medicine’ and ‘Breaking Away’. Chi town house legend Mike Dunn joins Michael on the title track ‘You & Me’, built around a clever sample of Freeez’s ‘Flying High’. Vocal powerhouse Tania Foster turns up the heat on the Latin disco flavoured ‘Shake’. New York singer Kelli Sae lends her unmistakable soul to ‘Give It To Me’ and ‘Detonate’, the latter also featuring singer/songwriter Errol Reid (China Black / Axwell). Jamiroquai’s Derrick McKenzie adds his signature live drums to ‘Detonate’ and ‘I Like The Way’. Sian Lee appears on the current single ‘Gravity’, which is sitting at the top of the Traxsource chart. ‘Universe’ sees Michael deliver an instrumental jackin’ house twist, set for a full single release on Toolroom in June. Adding further depth to the album, superstar diva Phebe Edwards brings her impeccable soulful tone to a cover of Cleo Sol’s ‘Life Will Be’, Brit soul favourite Dyanna Fearon shines on ‘I’m Falling For You’, and Audrey Martells lifts ‘Beautiful’ with her stunning, uplifting vocal.

British house producer Michael Gray strolls into the summer with his new single ‘Walk Into The Sun’ on Electrik Funk. He revisits the track after it featured on his 2007 ‘Analogue Is On’ artist album originally only available in Japan that due to contractual reasons never received a full release. You can see why Michael wanted to revisit this gem when you hear Steve Edwards (Dirty Vegas), Shena, Xavier & Detroit dance royalty Ann Saunderson all raising the temperature on vocal duties. The single shines brightly once again with Full Intention, Kizzmo & Focus providing the re-works. Very early DJ support has come in from Kaiserdisco, Philippe Zdar (Cassius), Tedd Patterson, Jean Paul Ghetto & Joyce Muniz to name a few and with it already a Traxsource Top 10 entry it’s easy to see and hear this becoming a SS16 anthem. Michael Gray is one of the most respected and in-demand artists currently on the global dance music scene. he enjoyed worldwide success on the back of his massive single The Weekend feat Shena reaching #7 in the UK and # 1 in Poland. It took the enjoyed similar chart success around the world. The single’s crossover appeal was cemented when it was used in a number of television commercials, including Honda Cars, the BBC’s Football Focus commercials and just recently in Ugly Betty. Appearances on dozens of compilation releases were the icing on the cake for one of 2004′s biggest tunes… His second single Borderline feat Shelly Poole again being embraced by both club land and daytime radio, went straight to #12 in the UK charts as the week’s highest new entry. His other singles include Somewhere Beyond featuring Steve Edwards. His last single is called “Missing You” and forthcoming single with Ann Saunderson, Shena & Xavier is called “Walk into the Sun” Michael co wrote and produced for the band Portobella (Luciana) and landed an album deal with Island Records. He then went on to produce and co write (with James Winchester) for Shena’s solo single “Electro Sexual”. This was used on the film ‘Girl with the Dragon Tattoo’. Other writing and production credits are with Danielle Senior, Penny Foster, Errol Reid, Kenny Thomas, Decree (Femi Santiago) and new artist Maddy. He has just completed an album with Midnight Mystery Club. The accomplished producer, DJ and remixer has enjoyed Grammy-nominated success alongside Jon Pearn as world renowned production and remix duo Full Intention; There recent productions have been for top dance labels Defected, OFF, Simma Black, Suara, Toolroom, Rebirth and there own label Full intention Recordings. In March 2016 they were no.1 on Traxsource for the 3 weeks with their project Soul Asylum ‘Who do you love’ on Low Steppas Simma Black label. The pair have secured a seemingly non-stop string of successful releases and remixes, escalating the twosome to true global status. They produced numerous huge club and charts hits, nearly all of them becoming all-time classics. Their discography includes such great tunes, like “I Love America”, “I’ll Be Waiting”, Duke “So in love with you”, “Everybody Loves The Sunshine” and Sex-o-Sonique “I Thought It Was You”, to name but a few. Full Intention have worked with some of the biggest names in the industry, like Paloma Faith, Dominica, Jamiroquai, Whitney Houston, Barbara Tucker, Frankie Knuckles, Ella Henderson, Ultra Nate, Robert Owens, Inner City & Purple Disco Machine and not to forget the Grammy nomination for their remix of George Michael’s “Amazing”.
