4 Track 4 Artist Of Funked Out Deep House , Nu Disco & Soulful House Grooves -
Coming at you on vibrant pink vinyl, Better Listen's First Class EP more than lives up to its' title. Check, for example, the screaming sax lines, life-affirming orchestral disco loops and bumping bottom end of Folamour's brilliant opener, "Oneness", and the bouncy disco-house positivity of Ari Bald's edit-not-edit "First Class", which is guaranteed to put smiles on faces on out on the dancefloor. Dorsi Plantar successfully tries the same trick on to woozy, ultra-soulful bliss of swirling sunshine shuffler "Boogie Sunrise", while Ethyene's undulating "Watching You" brilliantly wraps eyes-closed synthesizer lines and glistening disco guitars around a leisurely mid-tempo house groove.
Washington based Better Listen Records drop their first VA e.p. housing four disco influenced dancefloor workouts bringing a slice of sunshine to our shores.

Part of the recent renaissance of young French House and Disco producers, Folamour is an artist with a deep love for all music. His passion is demonstrated across the many edits, remixes and original records he produces.
After earning his stripes behind the decks in his home country, he quickly took to lighting up dancefloors across Europe and the rest of the world. The past 12 months have seen him play at revered venues such as London’s Corsica Studios, Rex Club in Paris and festivals such as Dimensions, Nuits Sonores, Lost Village and many more.
Folamour truly made his mark in 2017 with the arrival of his debut album Umami. A joint affair between his former label Moonrise Hill Material and Luke Solomon’s Classic Music Company, the record was critically acclaimed, including instant hits ‘Devoted To U’ and ‘Ivoire’, and was streamed over 1 million times within its first 12 months. In 2018, off the back of his album success Folamour put his touch on remixes for legendary artists such as Tony Allen and Nightmares on Wax.
Now living in London, Bruno has been hard at work developing his second LP. Scheduled to arrive in early 2019, it is a project that combines his appreciation for dance floor rhythms and his natural intuition for song-writing. Expect big things in 2019.
