NAME: PETROS MANGANΑRIS Born in Thessaloniki in 1979, Petros Manganaris is considered as one of the most promising talents of Greece's contemporary electronic music scene. With production work spanning many and diverse musical styles through his numerous aliases, Petros releases dubby techno & electronica as the "Echonomist", chill-out/downtempo grooves as a member of the popular "INFO" project, tech-breaks via the "The Scientifics" trio plus some quality minimal tech-house as half of the "Petter Pann" duo. With residencies at the Elvis Bar and Liebe.! club, Petros is famous for his groovy dj sets which incorporate the whole dance spectrum, from deep house to minimal techno, while his stunning and energetic live performances with his laptop and elaborate set-up are always received with excitement, expertly combining atmospheric rhythms with experimental and complex musical programming and pumping, crisp beats. Petros is also very busy as a label owner co-running V.I.M Records, one of Greece's finest and most eclectic electronic music imprints, with worldwide success and recognition.
