Last FM Information on Drax

Please note the information is done on a artist keyword match and data is provided by LastFM.
There are at least two musical acts who go by the name Drax: 1) Drax is the alias of German electronic musician Thomas Peter Heckmann. This alias has many variations, including but not limited to Drax Ltd. II, Draxx II, Drax Ltd. 2, Drax Ltd. III, and Drax Three. He is probably most known for the track Amphetamine. *** 2) DRAX (Thomas Mogensen) is a composer and tracker artist from Denmark. Starting out with making music on the Commodore 64 in 1988, he has composed nearly 1000 tunes on the system alone. In addition, he has also written music for several other computer formats, including a fairly large collection produced Fast Tracker II for the MS-DOS. He joined the group Bones in 1989, eventually expanding his connections to several other groups, including Amok, Bones, Bonzai, Conic, Crest, NATO, Noise, The Pulse Magazine Staff, Unitech Designs, Vibrants and Virtual Reality, of which he is currently only associated with Crest and Vibrant. Eventually, he was invited to join Maniacs of Noise in 1996, a group which is also devoted to provide music and sound effects for video games. Aside from several releases throug the group itself, his music has also been featured in the 2004 PC game, BreakQuest, alongside tunes by fellow members Jeroen Tel and Laxity. A collection of his works can be downloaded from Vibrant's official website. Read more on Last.fm. First spinning at the Wag club back in 1992 it was not long before he was offered a residence at the Limelight club in London. From then on Scott McShane became a regular on the London club scene playing at parties such as Naked Lunch, Art, Fubar and the Gass club. Producing his first track "S.D.J" along with a young Jon Nelson and a bloke called Pete Lazonby, the bug had well and truly been caught. Read more on Last.fm.
