DESCRIPTION:
4 Track EP Of Pumpin House With Familair Vocal Hooks - Underground hit makers Demi Riquísimo & The Trip combine their imprints and dexterity on the buttons for the first edition of TESSALICIOUS. Four burners fusing their respective penchants for earworms and dance floor functionality that’ll be heard right across festival season.

Demi Riquisimo and The Trip join forces to launch Tessalicious, debuting a collaborative project, splitting partly off from the former artist's own Semi Delicious imprint. The new four-tracker evidences a shared talent by the pair for producing a twisting, winding dance finesser mood, blending melodiousness and functionality so that we almost can't tell the difference between them. Intended to captivate festival-goers, the likes of 'Don't Go Away' and 'Rock The House' offer sensorial and distant vocal samples, though their rare audible moments - "how do you say... you're gorgeous!?"

Last FM Information on The Trip

The Trip is the DJ and production project by Max van Dijk and Oli Hiam, the founders of the London record label and party Tessellate who have been putting on parties since 2013. The duo had been DJing together for years as residents at their parties and had been making some music so they decided to bring their DJing and productions together as The Trip. - Alternatively, "Maiocchi & The Trip" was originally a psychedelic rock band formed in London, UK in 1966 by Riki Maiocchi (voice), Ritchie Blackmore (guitar), William Gray (voice and guitar), Arvid Andersen (voice and bass) and Ian Broad (drums). With this formation the band produced no records. Soon after (1967) the two founders, Maiocchi and Blackmore, and the drummer Broad left the band. They reformed the same year (1967) as "The Trip" with two members, Joe Vescovi (keyboard) and Pino Sinnone (drums), and began to move to more progressive sounds. The band produced two records for the RCA: the homonym "The Trip" (aka "Musica impressionistica") in 1970 and concept album "Caronte" in 1971. In 1972 Sinnone was replaced as drummer by Furio Chirico and, just an year after, Gray left the band. With the new formation, a trio of bass, drums and keyboard (like the Emerson, Lake & Palmer), the band produced another two records: "Atlantide" in 1972 for the RCA and "Time of Change" in 1973 for the Trident. In 1973, Chirico left the band; they tried to replace him with the drummer Nunzio Favia but it didn't work... the band split up for good. - The Trip is also an electronic rock band from Australia and Canada. Described as a keen-edged fusion of danceable electronic rock and often compared to early Red Hot Chili Peppers, Maroon 5, and The Script with an added funk twist, The Trip’s self-titled debut is filled with catchy hooks and melodies that please the ear and make the feet want to start moving. With a new album under their belt, these self-proclaimed frisbee champions are ready to take the US by storm. This trip has only begun.
