'Feel The Heat' on the A-side heads to Minneapolis for a jazzy Prince rework that's filtered through his distinctly Berlin sensibility and gives the source material a cooler, more considered edge. Flip it for 'Walking The City Lights', where Miles Davis' trumpet rides over a deep, spacious classic house production that lets the brass breathe and the groove do the talking. This is less obvious than a straight sample flip and is all the more satisfying for it.
