Last FM Information on Christian Hornbostel
Please note the information is done on a artist keyword match and data is provided by LastFM.
His international career as a producer began in 1991 with two UK top ten: 'Moments in soul' and 'Venus' produced with the BHF (Bisiach Hornbostel Ferrucci) team. He wrote and produced with the same team 'I need you', the hit by Nikita Warren later remixed by Joey Negro, and with Mr. Marvin 'Mismoplastico' by Virtualmismo and Vfr's 'Tranceillusion'; the two anthems were hammered by Sasha and John Digweed during their sets and included by the pair on their groundbreaking Renaissance compilation. As remixer, he has become a cult object since he flavored a whole summer hit by Joi Cardwell's 'Soul to bare' with his deep clubby version. Christian´s own projects such as 'Into your mind', 'Back 2 the music' or remixes for Satoshi Tomiie 'Come to me' and Chris Zander 'Lord of sunshine' keep this successful work going on.
Once again, his style represents the magic combination between class and one's own continuity in music. He signed 2005 'DMinor' and, back for another round, Christian returns 2006 to Soulfuric with his new single, 'All God's Children Got Rhythm'. Teaming up with veteran vocalist Keith Thompson (best known for his classic 'Break For Love'), the duo creates a slice of pure spoken word heaven. Pulsating rhythms and atmospheric keys under Keith's vocal project a positive and uplifting message.
Christian, also mastermind of the internationally acclaimed Housepacific radio show, which is aired in several countries, reaching weekly more than five million listeners (technical range), must be considered one of the big players of his genre.
