Charles Anthony Mitchell was born March 13, 1980 in Columbia, Maryland. He was the youngest child of three and only boy to Dr Charles R Mitchell Jr and Muriel G Mitchell. Early as fifth grade Charles wanted to make a difference. He loved watching the news and saw a report on homeless children. He contacted the local news gathered all his money, toys, canned foods, and clothes and made a generous donation to the channel 2 news. The following week, American, award winning, television news anchorman at WJZ-TV in Baltimore, Maryland Al Sanders and Emmy Award–winning journalist Denise Koch contacted Charles and asked him to appear in the studio and interviewed him on air to tell his story. In 7th grade Charles wanted to do a GT (Gifted and Talented) project that was big. He wanted it to involve the entire school, and use it as a tool to bring segregated clicks at Burleigh Manor Middle School together. After lots of letter writing, and phone calls he was contacted by some of HBO's Comic Relief Comedians (Whoopi Goldberg, Billy Crystal, Robin Williams) and they were impressed with his efforts and dedication to help people and gave him a huge donation for his Fashion Show Benefit to raise money for the organization: Healthcare for The Homeless. Charles proved successful and was rewarded an award from the Mayor of Baltimore, and Governor of Maryland. Charles attended The University of Pittsburgh where he majored in Business/Administration while managing Abercrombie and Fitch, and continued his urge for acting. He booked a few National commercials and modeled for different Print campaigns. A few years later he moved to Philadelphia, PA where he made a name for himself. He was seen dancing with local artist in many performances in different venues and every year at the Pride Festivals. Charles enjoyed the “city of brotherly love” life, but was ready to take on the big city life of LA. He moved to West Hollywood at the age of 26 started working for Ben Sherman as an assistant visual merchandiser while seeking out any TV jobs he could get his hands on. He ended up a few shy months living in LA he was on MTV’s Exposed where he won the dating challenge. This National Broadcast put his name on the map with local celebrity socialites, which opened his world even more. Charles and some friends started a social networking website and placed video content and editorial on this site and it became the talk of the town. He gathered a fan base for locals wanting to know the hot gossip, the scoop on events, and a peek into an evening they may have missed out one night. The site NeonSocial.com started co-promoting with other big promoters in the city and throwing fabulous parties and co-sponsoring many fundraisers. Charles Anthony is known for his latest over-exaggerated role as himself for "Best Night Ever,"as well as a writer for the show. Some of his earlier work includes playing himself in "The Wishmakers." Some of his earlier works include multiple campaign ads, modeling, singer/songwriter, activist, radio, theater, and dance. He resides in Los Angeles, California. Read more on Last.fm.
