Last FM Information on Calm

Please note the information is done on a artist keyword match and data is provided by LastFM.
There are several different artists named Calm: 1) A mid-90's post-hardcore band featuring members of Mohinder. Just after Mohinder and right before Duster, Calm surfaced in the mid-’90s to feed on the wage-depressed suburban Gen-X malaise. The trio of Clay Parton, Dove Amber, and Albert Menduno criss-crossed the west coast DIY scene by the time of their final recordings, “Moonraker” b/w “Scienists and Sabatuers,” etched at Mountain View’s Trainwreck Studios by noted sludge documenter Tom Yates. More metal than emo, Calm’s last record is nine-minutes of ear-bleeding racket from a couple of future spacewalkers. 2) An American nu-metal band (ex-Seeded Crown) Once the former Seeded Crown changed its name in January 2000, it became known simply as Calm. The original composition went DJ, but at the same time, the group was supplemented by two guitarists. Up to 2003, the team released 3 mini-albums and 1 demo. Also, the team has an unrealized, full-length album from 2004 "Narrative". By the end of 2003, the band experienced many ups and downs, including bone fractures of participants at concert shows and the departure of one of the guitarists and longtime friend of the band - Ahmed Smith. After that, they were not able to perform for eight months for the concerts because of the serious injury of the vocalist. All this affected the decline in the popularity of the band and by that time the musicians had no choice but to release their last mini-album called "In A Place Called Perfect". In the musical sense, Calm is not far from their only release "Please Remain Seeded" released under the brand Seeded Crown. After the departure of the main guitarist, the new guitarist Christopher Tolan joined the participants. In a new composition, the musicians began work on their debut album. On January 1, 2004, the band entered the studio of Morrisound Studios to record the full-length release "When the Sky Falls", directed by producer Tom Morris. Later, the disc's name changed several times, and later, after some time, the final version of the album's name was presented - "Narrative", with a cover and a tracklist on the reverse side. Nevertheless, this release was never meant to be published. The collective unexpectedly decides to completely change the concept of its sound, they change their name to "Phoenix Morning", take new members into the team and start performing their songs in the metalcore genre. It is noteworthy that some tracks from the unreleased album "Narrative" were subsequently re-recorded and released on the debut album of the group Phoenix Morning - When Excuses Become Antiques. 3) A hip hop duo consisting of Time (Raps) and AwareNess (Beats). 4) A Swedish 6-piece experimental/nu metal band based in Stockholm. 5) A Romanian rock band, still underground but quickly making a name for themselves. 6) A hip hop duo consisting of Time (Raps) and AwareNess (Beats). 7) A Japanese ambient electronica project by Kiyotaka Fukagawa (深川清隆). Active since 1997. 8) A Psychedelic Death Metal band from Poland. The Swedish band recently released their second album for free on their website, with all songs available for download.
