Felix Raphael)". the single marks Böhmer's first release with Ninja Tune and arrives two years on from his critically acclaimed 2021 album Begin Again. Recommended if you like... These new events mark the latest turn in a rapidly blossoming career that has seen him releases such as his moving debut album, 2019's Breathing, and most recently his critically acclaimed 2021 album, Begin Again - an emotional one album, which he wrote during a time when Böhmer and his now wife were separated due to the outbreak of a global pandemic on the other side of the world. Regarding the collaboration with the Berlin singer and producer of electronic music, Felix Raphael, Ben Böhmer explains: “We have been working and making music together since we first met. After the release of 'Run Away' a few years ago, I shared a first draft of the instrumental from 'One Last Call' with him and Felix responded really well to the energy and vibe of the melodies and harmonies. We ended up having dozens of vocal takes to perfect the song. All in all, we've been working on 'One Last Call' for over a year and a half and I hope the fans find it worth it!”
