Last FM Information on Black Mighty Orchestra

Please note the information is done on a artist keyword match and data is provided by LastFM.
Black Mighty Orchestra is a project launched by Cesare 'Black Mighty Wax' Cera, Irma Records producer and label manager, together with some of the musicians who have contributed to develop the label profile over the years, such as Ricky 'Ohm Guru' Rinaldi, vocalist Elise, keyboard player Alessandro Garofalo, trumpet player Massimo Greco. Black Mighty Wax started working in the music circuit in the late '70s, playing as a drummer and percussionist with various groups of the Italian funk scene. During the '80s he worked as a radio DJ, increasing his knowledge of '70s funk and soul. In the early '90s, with the house music explosion, Black Mighty Wax finds inspiration to start his first productions teaming up with Soundhands and Elise to form the act Be Noir. At the end of the past century, Black Mighty Orchestra released their debut album by the title 'To The Sky'. The opening tune of the album 'Ocean Beach' was remixed in 2001 by Cybophonia (another Irma artist) and was featured in dozens of chill-out compilations from labels all over the world.
