Björk has always been a true pioneer, but the fact that she was one of the first champions of the remix album is often a little overlooked. While it’s now fairly common for a mainstream artist to have their worked chopped up by other producers, few were doing so in the mid-90’s when Björk was making her name, and even fewer were producing whole albums of edits and re-rubs ala 1996’s Telegram. This LP sees tracks from Björk’s wonderful Post given a going over by the likes of Dillinja and Lucy. There are also alternate mixes and an original from the Post sessions (‘Lucky Spine’).
